This is a two day Player ID camp for male players ages 20 to 16. (Must be at least 10th grade.)
Players who are currently attending a four year college are not eligible to attend this camp.
 
Date: February 8th & 9th.

Cost: $100.00. Includes camp T-shirt – Players are responsible for meals and lodging.

Time:  Friday 5:00 pm. - 8:00 pm. Saturday 9:00 am. – 4:00 pm.



Camp will be limited to the first 50 players registered.

Training is under the direction of Men’s Head Coach – Danny Ortiz.

We encourage all those that can to please try and attend this soccer camp. It will be well worth your time and dollar. We understand this comes on the heels of the Thanksgiving tournament, but this will be one of the most beneficial camps our players can attend.  We know the holidays are busy, but for those who are not involved in other things we hope you can and will attend this camp.

Trainings Wednesday Thursday Friday will be:
Dixie High Turf Field –  3:30pm to 5:30pm – Boys & Girls U12 – U14Dixie High Turf Field –  4:00pm to 5:30pm – Boys & Girls U10 – U11
Dixie High Turf Field –  5:30pm to 7:30pm – Boys U15 – U18
Saturday Training will be:
Dixie High Turf Field – 9am – 10:30am – Boys & Girls U10 – U14
Dixie High Turf Field – 11am – 12:30pm – Boys U15 – U18
 
Cost of 4 Day Soccer Camp:  $35/player (Checks payable: Danny Rennie Camps)

Danny Rennie
A little background and coaching experience on Danny Rennie:  He was the Head Coach of Highlands Park, Belfour Park, Parkhurst, and Corinthians (semi-pro) team in South Africa.  Other coaching experience includes British Soccer, Sparta United, Utah’s ODP and State Instructional Staff.  Currently, Danny is the Director of Coaching for Wasatch Soccer Club.  There are at least a dozen coaches in Southern Utah that achieved the Coaching License E and D certificates from Danny when he was a Utah Coach License instructor.  Danny played youth soccer for Cliftonville in Ireland and professionally for Rovers in South Africa.  He also served on the 1990 World Cup Panel.  One of his coaching philosophy is, “It’s not about winning – it’s about playing to win.”  

Danny will have his sons, Liam & Patrick Rennie come to help with this camp. 
Liam is currently the Director of Coaching for the Louisiana Manderville Soccer Club covering the greater New Orleans Area and more than 2,500 players.  
Patrick is currently the Director of Coaching for the Firebirds Club in Northern Utah and formerly the Director of Coaching for Sparta Club is known for the highest level of coaching by all respected Soccer Clubs. Both Liam and Patrick also played professionally in South Africa.  Liam helped Danny run last year’s training camp and both Liam & Patrick have trained some of the older boys Fire FC teams over the years.
 
“This is a huge opportunity for any of our club players to train with some of the best coaches I have associated with since getting into the soccer scene some 12years ago.  I have had Danny Rennie and his sons personally train and run week long camps for my teams on multiple occasions and sincerely felt they were some of the best trainings my players have received.  Certainly, this is a financially challenging time of year with Christmas upon us.  Therefore, Danny has reduced the price for our club to almost half what they normally charge.  I know that it will be worth every dollar…just ask the players.”

Fire FC is supporting The FA's Respect program to ensure soccer can be enjoyed by everyone in a safe and positive environment.

In The FA's survey of over 37,000 grassroots participants, behaviour was the biggest concern in the game. This included both the abuse of match officials and the unacceptable behaviour by over competitive parents, spectators and coaches on the sidelines.

The FA's Respect programme is aimed at tackling unacceptable behaviour across the whole game. 

Play your part and observe The FA's Respect Code of Conduct for spectators, parents, coaches and players at all times.

Code of Conduct: Spectators/Parents

I will:
  • Remain outside the field of play and behind the Designated Spectator Area (where provided)
  • Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour
  • Always respect the match officials' decisions
  • Applaud effort and good play as well as success


In addition, when attending youth games I will:
  • Remember that children play for FUN
  • Let the coaches do their job and not confuse the players by telling them what to do
  • Encourage the players to respect the opposition and match officials
  • Never criticise a player for making a mistake -mistakes are part of learning


Code of Conduct: Coaches

I will:

  • Show respect to others involved in the game including match officials, opposition players, coaches, managers, officials and spectators
  • Adhere to the Laws of the Game
  • Display and promote high standards of behaviour
  • Always respect the match officials' decisions
  • Never enter the field of play without the referee's permission
  • Never engage in public criticism of the match officials
  • Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour.

When working with players, I will:

  • Place the well-being, safety and enjoyment of each player above everything, including winning
  • Explain exactly what I expect of players and what they can expect from me
  • Ensure the parents/carers of all players under the age of 18 understand these expectations
  • Refrain from, and refuse to tolerate any form of bullying
  • Develop mutual trust and respect with every player to build their self-esteem
  • Encourage each player to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance
  • Ensure all activities I organise are appropriate for the players' ability level, experience, age and maturity
  • Co-operate fully with others in soccer (e.g. officials, doctors, physiotherapists, welfare officers) for each player's best interests


Code of Conduct: Young Players 

When playing soccer, I will:

  • Always do my best, even if we're losing or the other team is stronger
  • Play fairly - I won't cheat, complain or waste time
  • Never be rude to my team-mates, the other team, the referee, spectators or my coach/team manager
  • Do what the referee tells me
  • Shake hands with the other team and referee at the end of the game
  • Listen to my coach/team manager and respect what he/she says
  • Talk to someone I trust, for example my parents or the club welfare officer if I'm unhappy about anything at my club.

For all High School and College stadiums:
  • Both benches will be on the same side of the field. (The Home side of each stadium)
  • Benches will be located 10 yards from the center line and 5 yards from the touchline.
  • Only Coaches and players with cards from participating teams are allowed in bench area.
  • Parents should be encouraged to sit on the same side and end of the stands as team.
The same rules will apply to Lower Hansen with both benches being located on the North side.

Sideline Policy for all other fields

The Sideline/player area is as follows, Team A and their parents will be on the same sideline. The team bench will be on the assistant referee side of the field. Team B and their parents will be on the same sideline as well, and the team bench will be on the same sideline as the assistant referee.

This being the case it is different in respect to a public park. In order to keep everyone safe and eliminate any problems the Staheli family request the following from SUSA league ,  parents and spectators.

PARKING ONLY IN DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS (failing to do so could result in having vehicle towed at owners expense) NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! Please no parking on any streets surrounding the farm property.

Drop off ONLY in designated drop off areas make sure they arrive on field safely.

You are responsible for the safety and well being of your child!! This includes siblings that are spectators. PLEASE KNOW WHERE THEY ARE AT ALL TIMES!!

PLEASE KEEP OFF OF THE IRRIGATION EQUIPMENT! 

KEEP OUT OF GARDEN/PUMPKIN PATCH AREAS DO NOT WALK THROUGH OR PICK VEGATABLES.

League will be responsible for all trash and litter on and around fields. Stahelis will supply trash cans.

NO outside food or drinks may be sold on the property!

Respect the property by keeping it clean. 

*** NOTE   ALL WATER IN SOCCER FIELD AREA IS FOR IRRIGATION ONLY!!! DO NOT DRINK

Keep children away from pond. NO CHILDREN are allowed in play ground area or petting zoo without purchasing a wristband.
