02 Boys

Mark Hunt grew up playing competitive soccer in Las Vegas for the Spartans.  
He played in many tournaments in California, Arizona, and Nevada. 
Mark realized his penchant for the game and also began coaching competitive 
soccer in Las Vegas at the age of 17.  After graduating from UNLV in 1995 with a Biology Degree, 
he attended Optometry School in Chicago and became a board certified optometric physician in 1999.  
He then relocated his family to St. George and started practice.  

Mark enjoys fishing in the mountains and going to the beach.  He is married and has 4 children.  
He is currently serving as the president of Fire FC and has earned his "D" License in coaching.  
He has participated as a coach for Southern Utah Girls ODP, Utah Boys State Cup, and Presidents Cup.  
Currently he coaches the '02 boys team and has enjoyed starting over again with young players.
One of the highlights of this last season was winning the La Roca Pioneer Cup Gold Division.  
"The boys really had a lot of fun and worked hard as a team."

Travis Wilkinson - I have had 10 years coaching experience and maintain a National USSF D Coaching License.  I am also a member of the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) and I have coached the Dixie High School Boys Soccer for the past 3 seasons.  Currently, I am a Southern Utah ODP Coach for the "93/94 Girls.   

Tournaments Accomplishments Include: 
7 Southern Utah Soccer League Championships      Won Pioneer Cup Championship 
Won 3 Dixie Invitational Championships                  Finalist at Park City Exteme Cup 
5 Gold Medals at the Utah Summer Games              1 Silver Medal at the Utah Summer Games 
Taken team(s) to Utah State Cup Tournament         Coached in ODP Intermountain Friendlies

Jared Atkin holds a USSF National "D" coaching license. He has been playing soccer for almost 30 years and has been a coach for 20 years. He grew up playing soccer when it was in its infancy in St. George and watched first hand as it grew from just a recreation program to the club, high school and college programs that exist today. After six years as a coach for the Utah Rush soccer club in Northern Utah, Jared is excited to be back in St. George and to be able to contribute to the further development of soccer in Southern Utah.

Stuart Dewey holds a USSF National D coaching licence and has been coaching for 6 years in Saint George. Stuart grew up in Rock Springs, Wyoming where he played his recreation, competitive, and High School soccer. He has played in over fifty tournaments and played varsity all four years of High School. He still plays soccer as often as he can, playing indoor and in both latino leagues. Currently, Stuart's the head coach of U15, U13, and U10 boys and loves every minute of it!!

Harvey Brubaker - I have 15 years coaching experience with boys and girls.  I currently have 2 and half years with Fire FC and loved every minute of it.  I maintain a National USSF "E" Licence.  I have one daughter and three sons.  All of which have played soccer at the competitive level.  I have had the opportunity to coach them all and am currently coaching my youngest son at this time.  My three sons are playing in U-10, U-13 and U-18 respectively.  They appreciate the Club and the coaches greatly.  Fire FC accomplishments Include:  4 Southern Utah Soccer League Championships.  1 Gold medal and 1 Bronze medal at the Utah Summer Games.  1 Gold medal at the Park City Extreme Cup.  More to come.  "WE ARE FIRE FC"!!!

Wes Davis grew up in Northern Utah playing for several teams until he landed with Sparta United.  This team played and won several State level tournaments but also competed in many Regional tourneys.  His most memorable tournament was winning the San Diego Surf Cup Super U-19 division, one of the countries top events.  All through out High School he played Varsity soccer and started for one of the states most dominant and highly ranked 5A powerhouses Bingham High School.  He continued to play club soccer at the highest level (at the time) in the state and helped coach at 5A Bingham and Copper Hills High Schools.  His love for the sport started in the home at a young age and in his travels to S. America.  He has a passion for the game and enjoys seeing kids and the sport grow locally in Southern Utah.  He coaches his sons youth teams and looks forward to helping train and grow the Fire FC Club.

Steve Bennett works as a physical therapist for Mountain Land Rehabilitation. He specializes in stroke, spinal cord and sports rehab. He has eight athletic children and has coached soccer and many other sports over the last fourteen years. He grew up playing soccer in Houston, Texas on a competitive soccer club that traveled as far as England. He also played three years of varsity basketball.

He currently has an E soccer license and has been privileged to coach the Fire FC ’97 team for the last 4 years. His team has taken second place in a number of tournaments, and recently won the President’s Day Cup and qualified to go to regionals in Oregon.
